Job summary

Bayer AG seeks a Medical Science Liaison for a 6 to 12 month role, focused on cardiology and medical affairs. You will disseminate scientific information, answer expert inquiries, and engage with KOLs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus industry experience, are essential.

The role involves coordinating scientific education activities, preparing reports, and collaborating with investigators and Bayer teams to advance medical education and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, pharmacology or medicine.
• Advanced degrees in science-related field (MD, PharmD, MSc, PhD) preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or related activities.
• Knowledge of cardiology is highly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Exchange and disseminate scientific, educational, and research information to KOLs, planning and engaging with them.
• Answer medical/scientific queries from Medical Societies and support advisory boards.
• Network at congresses and conventions to meet KOLs and gather intelligence.
• Plan and organize scientific training and education events with KOLs in relevant areas.
• Prepare reports tracking field activities and act as a liaison for investigators and Bayer personnel.
• Identify and profile KOLs; contribute to strategy and engagement planning with Medical Affairs.
