Amity Foundation seeks compassionate individuals to join as Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator. The role focuses on teaching life skills and family relations within inmate programs and re-entry initiatives, advancing community impact.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based curricula, tracking progress, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff to support participants. Must be certified or have a scheduled certification date.

Formación

• Must be Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• Certification number or test date should be included on resume for priority.
• If not certified yet, apply after certification or provide test date; without certification disqualification occurs.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using approved curriculum.
• Conduct sessions to develop action plans; provide makeup work; no relapse prevention plans.
• Evaluate and document participant progress in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of CBI programming to CDCR/CCHCS staff in system.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters and local staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
