The Tres Group is a real estate investment and management company operating multiple entities in Colombia and the United States. We manage residential and commercial properties and require strong financial oversight across jurisdictions.

Position Overview

We are seeking a bilingual Accountant / Bookkeeper based in Colombia to support accounting operations for both Colombian and U.S. entities.

This role will support accounting operations in:

• Colombia (using SIIGO and local tax compliance)
• United States (using Zoho Books)

The ideal candidate understands Colombian accounting standards (NIIF), DIAN compliance, and is comfortable working with U.S. bookkeeping systems and financial reporting.

This position requires strong organizational skills, multi-entity experience, and the ability to manage monthly closes in two regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Colombia Operations (SIIGO)

• Manage full‑cycle accounting in SIIGO
• Prepare and file taxes (IVA, withholding tax, ICA if applicable)
• Support DIAN compliance and reporting
• Perform monthly and year‑end close
• Maintain accurate financial statements under NIIF

U.S. Operations (Zoho Books)

• Manage bookkeeping in Zoho Books
• Record rental income and property expenses
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process AP and AR
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Support external CPAs with documentation

General

• Maintain organized digital records
• Manage multiple entities simultaneously
• Meet strict monthly reporting deadlines
• Communicate clearly with leadership

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience using SIIGO (required)
• Experience using Zoho Books (required)
• Strong knowledge of NIIF
• Experience with Colombian tax compliance
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing multiple entities
• Strong attention to detail
• English proficiency (professional working level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Colombian Public Accountant license
• Experience filing taxes through DIAN
• Experience with U.S. accounting practices
• Real estate accounting experience
