Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is fluent in English and Spanish to work remotely from anywhere in Colombia. The role focuses on technical discovery, solution design, and PoC evaluations to drive enterprise deals.

You will present live demos, collaborate with Account Executives, and engage with engineering teams to ensure customer success. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering, strong architectural translation skills for enterprise IT,

Qualifications

4+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical consulting (or Masters +3).
3+ years translating customer requirements into technical architectures in enterprise IT.
2+ years delivering live software demos, PoCs, or customer evaluations.
Experience in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud infra, or observability/data analytics.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and solution design with Account Executives.
Deliver technical presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and hands-on product demonstrations showing ROI.
Build and execute PoCs to validate feasibility and accelerate deal closure.
Collaborate with product specialists, channel partners, and engineering teams to provide field feedback and expand account penetration.
