Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to bridge development and operations, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems. The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and incident response within a dynamic L4 support environment.

You will design and maintain infrastructure automation, manage Kubernetes clusters, and collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and scalability.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in SRE/related role.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Good to have OpenStack knowledge.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting with emphasis on automation.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container technologies experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Python/Bash and IaC tools.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps in Linux environments.
• Create and enhance monitoring systems for high availability and performance.
• Develop automated solutions for incident response, capacity planning, and recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and scalability.
• Participate in on-call rotations for L4 support, including weekend coverage when required.

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and performing optimally. You'll work in a dynamic L4 Support environment where your expertise in automation, monitoring, and incident response will be crucial for maintaining service excellence.In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure automation using Python/Bash scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications in Linux environments.
• Creating and enhancing monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance of critical services.
• Developing automated solutions for incident response, capacity planning, and system recovery.
• Collaborating with development teams to improve application reliability and scalability.
• Participating in on-call rotations to provide L4 support, including potential weekend coverage when required.

Your profile

• Count with minimun 3 years of experience in the Role.
• English B2 level or above
• Good to have OpenStack Knowledge
