UPL Colombia is seeking a Demand Planner to forecast product demand and maintain optimal inventory for the Mexico operations. The role is based in Colombia and requires close collaboration with Supply, Commercial and Manufacturing teams to align forecasts with campaigns and inventory levels.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, with 3–6 years of experience in demand planning, and is proficient in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or similar roles.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in the Agricultural industry is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and analyze demand forecasts by region and product.
• Generate KPI reports (One Page Dashboard, Sales Progress, Inventory, Forecast, and Inventory Days).
• Support Logistics, Marketing, and Commercial teams with demand trends visibility.
• Ensure product availability by maintaining inventory levels and timely replenishment.
• Perform daily inventory reviews to identify replenishment opportunities.

Demand Planner - Colombia (Supporting Mexico Operations)

At UPL, we are currently looking for a Demand Planner to join our team.

Position Summary

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting future product demand to ensure the organization maintains the right inventory levels to meet customer needs efficiently. This position will be based in Colombia and will primarily support the Mexico business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze demand forecasts by region and product.
• Generate KPI reports (One Page Dashboard, Sales Progress, Inventory, Forecast, and Inventory Days) to monitor supply chain performance.
• Support the Logistics, Marketing, and Commercial teams by providing visibility into active ingredient demand trends, enabling informed business decisions.
• Ensure product availability throughout the supply chain by maintaining the appropriate inventory levels and timely replenishment.
• Perform daily inventory reviews to identify replenishment opportunities and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing team to implement supply strategies that support commercial campaigns and promotional activities.
• Ensure replenishment plans and strategies are executed effectively by collaborating closely with Commercial Managers.
• Monitor customer orders and product shipments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or similar roles.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Previous experience in the Agricultural industry is required.
