About the opportunity
An international company is looking for a Supply Planning Analyst to support inventory planning, replenishment and order management activities.
This is an operational and analytical role focused on maintaining product and material availability, identifying potential supply risks and supporting the resolution of issues that may affect order fulfillment.
Key responsibilities
- Support inventory planning and replenishment activities.
- Analyze demand, available inventory, coverage and supply requirements.
- Execute or monitor MRP processes or equivalent replenishment methodologies.
- Monitor open orders, backorders and potential fulfillment issues.
- Investigate the causes of delays, shortages and unfulfilled orders.
- Follow up on purchase orders, sales orders and requisitions.
- Identify risks related to stockouts, overstock, obsolescence and slow-moving inventory.
- Analyze inventory, availability and service-level indicators.
- Maintain accurate and updated information in the company’s ERP system.
- Prepare reports and analyses in Excel to support operational decisions.
- Coordinate actions with different functional areas and international stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory, planning and order fulfillment.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, Production Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately one to two years of experience in supply planning, material planning, inventory replenishment or a closely related area.
- Practical knowledge of MRP or an equivalent inventory replenishment methodology.
- Understanding of inventory coverage, minimum and maximum stock levels, reorder points, stockouts, overstock, slow-moving inventory and service levels.
- Experience monitoring orders and identifying potential supply or fulfillment risks.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Hands-on experience using an ERP system.
- Conversational English, ideally B1+ or B2.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
