Polaris Advisors seeks Backend Developers with strong hands-on experience in both .NET and Java to join a large-scale backend migration initiative. You will reverse-engineer existing .NET services, design equivalent Java/Spring Boot services, rebuild persistence layers, preserve API contracts, and establish automated testing for parity.

You’ll own CI/CD, containerization, and deployment, participate in architecture decisions, and mentor others as part of a U.S.-based client modernization effort.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional backend experience.
• Hands-on with C# and .NET including Framework/Core/6+.
• Strong Java 17 or 21, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle.
• Solid REST API design, versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger.
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, schemas, indexing, queries.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automated testing with JUnit/Mockito/Testcontainers/NUnit.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 for daily US-based collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Reverse-engineer existing C#/.NET services and data access.
• Design and build equivalent Java/Spring Boot services.
• Migrate systems incrementally, side-by-side with legacy.
• Preserve REST API contracts and integrations.
• Rebuild SQL Server persistence layers and mappings (JPA/Hibernate).
• Develop automated unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Own CI/CD, containerization, and deployment of backend services.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and share migration patterns.
