BairesDev is seeking a Legacy Modernization Engineer to lead the transformation of outdated monolithic apps into scalable microservices. You will orchestrate the migration from legacy stacks to modern ecosystems, ensuring business continuity while reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities include decomposing monoliths, designing RESTful APIs, refactoring in .NET or Java, and integrating CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery. Strong English and 4+ years of software engineering are required.

Formación

• Experience in transforming legacy systems and gradually replacing monoliths.
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs for microservices migrations.
• Strong background in .NET or Java ecosystems and legacy code refactoring.
• Knowledge of CI/CD adoption and modernization of delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with migration patterns like the Strangler Fig.

Responsabilidades

• Decompose monoliths into microservices by business domain.
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs for legacy and new services.
• Refactor legacy code in .NET or Java to improve maintainability.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment workflows.
• Define migration roadmaps to minimize disruption while moving to cloud-ready platforms.
