AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-native systems using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, and AWS services.

You will work on a product-led engineering team, handling observability, cost-savings, and compliance tasks while delivering high-performance, resilient software. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend roles, experience with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• MongoDB Atlas experience.
• Aurora MySQL on AWS expertise.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Spring Boot framework experience.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience designing and operating large-scale, high-performance cloud services.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Aufgaben

• Take on lower-priority engineering work like compliance and maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and operational tool development.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, and reliable software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture with data-driven validation and experimentation.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Partner with a Product Manager and fellow engineers to clarify requirements and perform mid-level design work, focusing on coding, testing, and documentation.
