Monks Technology Services, part of Media.Monks and S4 Capital, seeks a Cloud Azure Security Engineer in Colombia. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions for Microsoft Azure environments, focusing on identity and access controls, vulnerability remediation, and policy enforcement.

You will work with Engineering and Operations to apply security best practices, with hands-on Entra ID expertise required and a strong emphasis on RBAC, CA policies, and security automation.

Formación

• 2+ years of cloud security engineering experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on Microsoft Entra ID experience is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of Entra ID components, CA policies and RBAC.
• Experience with identity governance, PIM, access reviews and least privilege.
• Familiarity with cloud security posture, IAM, and CIS/ISO controls.

Responsabilidades

• Assess Azure security posture across infrastructure, apps, and data.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into security controls.
• Perform security audits and remediation planning.
• Guide engineering teams on security best practices and remediations.
• Design and implement security solutions across identity, network, and data planes.
• Automate controls with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and scripts.
• Monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and adjust controls accordingly.
• Lead incident response activities and post-incident reviews.
