Monks Technology Services, part of Media.Monks and S4 Capital, is seeking a Cloud Azure Security Engineer in Colombia to design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across Azure environments.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen security posture, automate processes with Terraform and GitHub Actions, and guide clients toward compliant, scalable solutions.

Formación

• 2+ years of cloud security engineering experience focusing on Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Azure security services including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Firewall, and AAD.
• Experience with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the security posture of Microsoft Azure environments for vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across infra, apps, and data.
• Develop and maintain security policies and standards aligned with regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into security controls.
• Automate security processes using Terraform, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.
• Monitor threats and participate in incident response and remediation efforts.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to engineering and operations teams.
• Support Azure-native security services and ensure compliant, resilient security practices.
