Academy International Elementary School is seeking a SpEd Paraprofessional to support students on the autism spectrum under teacher supervision. The paraprofessional will assist licensed staff, help implement individualized goals, and support classroom activities to facilitate student learning and safety.

The position may require relocation within the district if student needs change, and ongoing training will align with instructional practices and behavior strategies throughout the school year.

Formación

• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new equipment/systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with software systems for data management.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily classroom activities for students on the autism spectrum.
• Work one-on-one with students to implement programming (Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior Training, etc.).
• Monitor behavior programs and collect data for assessment.
• Prepare data collection sheets and maintain student records.
• Attend pre-job training, ongoing training, and meetings during the school year.
• Support classroom teachers and other staff in implementing goals.
• Assist with meal preparation, mobility, and supervision during field trips.
• Supervise students during recess, transitions, and classroom duties.
