Job summary

Medtronic plc is hiring an Associate Clinical Specialist in Bogotá, Colombia. This role provides on-site clinical education and medical device support, collaborating with clinical and commercial teams to drive adoption and ensure excellent customer care.

You will work with cardiology and other specialists, supporting procedures and offering education to improve patient outcomes while pursuing ongoing training and certification programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical environments.
• Experience in Cath Lab/hemodynamics environments.
• Interacting with interventional cardiologists, physicians, nurses and clinical teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site education and clinical consulting.
• Deliver field support to healthcare professionals in providing services to Medtronic customers and achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
• Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute sales plans across one or more business units.
• Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness and knowledge.
• Work closely with the Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Commercial teams to provide customer and sales support.
• Identify and facilitate the execution of sales growth opportunities and clinical support initiatives.
• Serve as a technical resource to support the sales of a specific medical device product or solution.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree completed
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical environments, providing support with medical devices
• Experience working in Cath Lab/hemodynamics environments, supporting coronary and peripheral vascular procedures and interacting with interventional cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and clinical teams
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
• Valid driver’s license
