Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Production Support / SRE Engineer to support a cloud-based microservices platform.

The role requires strong Java development capabilities and hands-on expertise with Azure and Kubernetes, operating in a 100% remote setup adhering to US Eastern Time. The candidate will handle L3/L4 incidents, improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and apply SRE practices including SLI/SLO monitoring, RCAs, and automation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in application support, software development, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
• Experience debugging and fixing production code.
• Hands-on with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure Application Insights and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with ServiceNow change management.
• Understanding of SRE principles, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
