AspenView Technology Partners is seeking an API Engineer to join our nearshore team serving North American clients. You will build and maintain REST APIs and integrations on .NET/C# with Apigee and AWS to power omnichannel payment acceptance, cross-property reconciliation, currency conversion, and split settlement.

We value 3+ years of API engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong English communication, and experience in enterprise, multi-tenant environments.

About The Role

AspenView Technology Partners is seeking an API Engineer to join a leading omnichannel enterprise commerce platform serving large hoteliers and multi-property operators in the travel and hospitality industry. You will build and maintain the REST APIs and integrations - on .NET/C# with Apigee and AWS - that power omnichannel payment acceptance, cross-property reconciliation, currency conversion, and split settlement. Success in this role means shipping reliable, well-integrated APIs that meet enterprise standards, while keeping services secure, compliance-aware, and delivered on a steady, predictable cadence.

What You Will Do

API Development

• Build and maintain REST APIs for enterprise, multi-tenant commerce.
• Follow established contract, versioning, and reuse standards.

Enterprise Integration

• Integrate ERP and e-commerce systems; manage APIs with Apigee.
• Support omnichannel acceptance and reconciliation across properties.
• NET Services
• Build C#/.NET enterprise services on AWS.
• Deliver for reliability and enterprise SLAs.

Quality & Security

• Write automated tests and instrument observability.
• Apply web-service security (SSL mutual auth, Azure AD) and compliance-aware development practices.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 3+ years of API engineering experience.
• Travel & hospitality industry experience required - specifically enterprise hotelier commerce, including omnichannel acceptance, cross-property reconciliation, currency conversion, and split settlement.

Technical Expertise

• C#/.NET and REST API development.
• Apigee API management; ERP and e-commerce integration.
• Enterprise/multi-tenant services on AWS.
• Strong written and spoken English; LatAm-based and aligned to U.S. (EST) time zone for embedded, client-side collaboration.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes/Docker, Azure AD, financial-compliance platform experience, and Spanish or Portuguese fluency for LatAm expansion.

Certifications

• Not required. Certifications in payments or travel/hospitality technology are valued alongside demonstrated delivery experience in these domains.
