AspenView Technology Partners is seeking an accomplished IT/Enterprise Architect to lead AI-driven cloud architectures for healthcare clients in a nearshore setting. You will shape the target-state enterprise roadmap, partner with clinical and security teams, and ensure compliant, scalable designs across hybrid environments.

You will drive secure AI/ML solutions, including NLP for unstructured notes, RAG architectures, and data interchange with EHR systems, while guiding governance and risk

Formación

• 10+ years in IT/Enterprise Architecture, with a track record of cloud and AI/ML projects across regulated environments.
• Experience architecting secure, HIPAA-compliant enterprise AI/ML solutions in healthcare or life sciences.
• Strong ability to translate clinical workflows into scalable, resilient technical architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the target-state enterprise architecture roadmap, integrating AI, ML, and cloud paradigms to improve clinical and operational efficiency.
• Architect secure, scalable AI solutions including LLM integration, NLP for clinical notes, and predictive analytics models.
• Drive hybrid and multi-cloud strategies (AWS/Azure) using IaC, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
• Ensure data interchange across core EHR systems (Epic) using FHIR APIs, HL7, and SNOMED CT/LOINC mappings.
• Establish enterprise standards for HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF compliance across AI/ML deployments.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, security teams, and app managers to translate workflows into robust technical solutions.

About The Role

• In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex health system needs and cutting-edge technology—including Generative AI, predictive clinical analytics, multi-cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and electronic health record (EHR/Epic) integrations.
• You will work closely with IT leadership, clinical champions, data security officers, and remote engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and HIPAA-compliant enterprise architectures.

What You Will Do

• Strategic AI & Architecture Leadership: Define and own the target-state enterprise architecture roadmap, integrating emerging AI, machine learning, and cloud paradigms to drive clinical and operational efficiency.
• Healthcare AI Infrastructure: Architect secure, scalable enterprise AI solutions—including LLM integration, Natural Language Processing (NLP) for unstructured clinical notes, RAG architectures, and predictive analytics models.
• Cloud & System Integration: Drive hybrid and multi-cloud strategies (AWS/Azure) utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), event-driven architectures, and microservices.
• Healthcare Interoperability: Ensure seamless data exchange and application integration across core EHR systems (e.g., Epic) using modern standards like FHIR APIs, HL7, and SNOMED CT/LOINC terminology mapping.
• Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Establish enterprise standards that guarantee strict compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF, and patient privacy guardrails across all AI/ML deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical leaders, security teams, and application managers to translate complex medical workflows into resilient technical solutions.

Experience

What You Bring

10+ years in IT/Enterprise Architecture, with at least 3+ years architecting enterprise cloud and AI/ML solutions (preferably within healthcare, life sciences, or heavily regulated industries).

Technical Expertise

• AI & Data Ecosystem: Proven experience with Generative AI, Vector Databases, MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, and natural language processing; familiarity with data standards (FHIR, HL7) and AI-ready data architecture.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep expertise in AWS managed services, Azure, and hybrid cloud architectures; proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK) and modern containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.

Language Proficiency

Advanced/Fluent English (C1/C2) is required for daily collaboration with US-based clinical and executive leadership.
