Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical integrity and safety of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and assisting with grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant licenses (Type I/II or Universal) required by jurisdictions.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor about re-orders.
• Documents and tracks service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
