Job summary

Opella is seeking a Tax and Compliance Manager in Bogotá to lead monthly tax closings, oversee VAT, WHT, and other indirect taxes, and ensure accurate tax reporting. You will supervise a team, manage A2R master data, and coordinate with CHC/GBS across regions.

The role requires 10+ years in tax accounting, IFRS knowledge, SAP proficiency, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monthly tax closing and reporting activities per group timetable.
• Perform tax calculations including indirect taxes (VAT, WHT, Intrastat and others).
• Supervise tax calculations and preparation of tax returns.
• Provide A2R Master Data management services (PCoA, tax MD).
• Monitor and report tax performance at group and country levels.
• Support country Heads of Finance Operations on tax matters.
