Job summary

British American Tobacco Colombia is seeking a Tax Manager in Bogota to design and coordinate the company’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax management. You will lead corporate tax processes, prepare reports, and support global collaboration while driving value for the business.

The role requires deep knowledge of tax regulations, experience with multinational operations, leadership skills, and an English level of B2+ to engage with global teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in accounting, law, finance or related field.
• Tax specialization or certification required.
• Solid experience in tax areas, preferably in multinational consumer goods or dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of corporate tax regulations and business taxation management.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing fiscal and financial reports.
• Proficient with financial tools and tax management platforms.
• Ability to interpret regulatory changes and assess business impact.
• Strong leadership to develop and manage high-performing teams.
• Intermediate/advanced English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate the company’s tax strategy to meet business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize tax management and support initiatives that add value.
• Provide specialized tax advice and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
