Deel is seeking a Backend Engineer, AI to ship robust backend features across 150+ countries. You will leverage Claude and other AI tools to accelerate development while upholding engineering fundamentals.

You'll collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, designers, and QA in a fully distributed team, owning features end-to-end from design to production and ensuring security, performance, and compliance at scale.

Formación

• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend/Software Engineer.
• Experience developing with NodeJS or Python.
• Strong with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries (Sequelize/TypeORM).
• Demonstrated experience shipping real products using Claude.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Adheres to Deel's code review, testing, deployment standards.
• Information security and cost-conscious engineering practices.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with PMs, frontend, designers and QA to define features.
• Use Claude to accelerate development and review AI-generated code.
• Build and ship AI products, workflows, and agents.
• Contribute across the Software Development Lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
• Develop APIs, databases and infrastructure while maintaining quality.
