The role involves rapid iterations, where features are shipped multiple times a day, directly collaborating with operations teams. Candidates should possess expertise in Cursor.ai, N8N, OpenAI APIs, and full-stack development including Node.js and React. Formación

• Expert-level usage of Cursor.ai or similar AI tools is required.
• Complex multi-step workflows using N8N or similar tools is essential.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs, producing structured outputs and prompt engineering.
• Full-stack knowledge with Node.js and React or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL is necessary.
• Experience in REST API design and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud deployments across Azure, AWS, or GCP is required.
• Individuals should have strong architectural instincts and security awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Build internal tools and automation workflows for the operations team.
• Fix bugs and ship features rapidly with multiple releases each day.
• Design and deploy AI agents to automate repetitive tasks.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems.
• Conduct QA to ensure releases meet real business logic.
• Translate vague user feedback into precise technical solutions.

The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

We're looking for a sharp, fast-moving engineer to build and maintain AI-powered tools for our operations team. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders, turn feedback into shipped code within hours, and own full cycles – from scoping to deployment. Multiple releases per day is the norm, not the exception. This is a high‑autonomy role. You'll get requirements directly from ops and business leads.

What You'll Do

• Build internal tools and automation workflows for the operations team using Cursor and n8n
• Fix bugs and ship features in fast iterations – 3‑4 production releases per day
• Design and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive operational tasks end‑to‑end
• Integrate with third‑party APIs and internal systems without handholding
• Own QA – test your releases against real business logic before pushing
• Talk directly with ops users and translate vague feedback into precise solutions

What You Bring

• Cursor.ai / Other AI IDE – expert‑level usage, this is your primary build tool
• N8N / Other Agentic Workflow tools – complex multi‑step workflows, not just simple triggers
• OpenAI / LLM APIs – agents, tool use, structured outputs, prompt engineering
• Full‑stack: Node.js + React or equivalent
• PostgreSQL or similar relational database
• REST API design and third‑party integrations
• Cloud deployment (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Strong architecture instincts – you extend cleanly, never break existing systems
• Strong security awareness – use emerging technologies but keep the system secure at the same time

Nice to Have

• HubSpot API
• MongoDB
• Chrome extensions
• playwright / browser automation
• Internal ops tooling experience
• Restaurant or logistics domain knowledge

Who you are

• Strong architect who also ships fast – you don’t sacrifice one for the other
• Young mindset: energized by speed, iteration, and direct ownership
• Experienced working directly with non‑technical stakeholders – no PM buffer needed
• Available and responsive beyond standard hours when production issues arise
• Based in LATAM with full overlap with US business hours (EST / PST)
• You’ve built tools real teams use daily – not just side projects and demos
