Job summary

Koombea hires an AI-First Native Mobile Developer to build modern, scalable native apps for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin). You will work in AI Pods with other AI-First developers, owning features end-to-end from architecture through deployment.

You will use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery, review AI-generated code, and integrate REST APIs and device capabilities, while maintaining performance and memory efficiency across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native mobile development experience.
• Strong experience with Swift and Kotlin building native apps.
• Experience reviewing and refactoring AI-generated code and integrating AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native iOS apps using Swift/SwiftUI.
• Build native Android apps with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Own features end-to-end across iOS and Android.
• Use agentic AI coding tools as a default workflow.
• Design scalable native architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Review and refactor AI-generated code with rigor.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Debug performance, crashes, memory, and scalability issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
