As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable data infrastructure to power advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with a collaborative team of engineers to build data pipelines, data warehouses, and BI platforms that transform raw information into actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud and on-premise architectures, using technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Snowflake, while contributing to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
  • Develop and optimize data warehouses, ETL processes, and BI platforms for high performance
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, identifying and resolving issues proactively
  • Assist in integrating cloud-based and on-premise solutions for analytics and machine learning applications
  • Contribute to best practices for data architecture, coding standards, and operational efficiency
  • Support knowledge sharing, mentorship, and team development initiatives
Requirements
  • BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics infrastructure, or data management
  • Strong expertise in building data warehouses, big data systems, and ETL pipelines
  • Proficiency with data processing frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, or similar
  • Practical experience analyzing, visualizing, and transforming complex datasets
  • Experience with cloud-managed services (Airflow, Glue, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with notebooks like Jupyter or Google Colab
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote team
