Job summary

GLT Logistics is seeking an AR Specialist to manage accounts receivable portfolios and drive timely payments. You will collaborate with Sales and Operations to keep customer data current and support cash flow. The role requires a degree in business/finance or similar, 6–12 months of AR experience, and strong English/Spanish written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolios and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices, payment commitments, account balances, and billing inquiries.
• Review payments received and follow up on outstanding or missed payment agreements to prevent further overdue balances.
• Support accurate and complete billing by validating required customer information and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to keep account information updated and coordinate collection strategies.
• Identify accounts that represent a collection risk and communicate them to the team leader for early intervention.

As an AR Specialist, you will encounter exciting challenges in this role:

• Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolios and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.

To be outstanding in this role, the following factors will contribute to your success:

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in Accounts Receivable, collections, or a related area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
• Strong written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Fixed monthly compensation of COP $2,849,095.
