EPAM Systems, Inc. in Colombia seeks an Accounting Lead – Record to Report (R2R) to drive closing processes, ensure accuracy, and lead cross-functional accounting initiatives. You will set timelines, review entries, and coordinate with regional teams to resolve issues efficiently.

You will mentor staff, uphold US GAAP and IFRS standards, and contribute to process improvements and tool upgrades in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting with Colombian public accountant certification.
• Minimum five years in General Ledger, R2R, financial reporting and auditing; at least two in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS in complex contexts.
• Experience leading process governance and improvements; functional English at B2 level or higher.
• Practical experience with SAP or comparable ERP for financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Direct monthly closing timeline across entities ensuring accuracy and timely wrap-up.
• Evaluate and approve journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing materials.
• Analyze complex accruals, prepaid balances, irregular transactions and manual entries.
• Serve as central contact for posting difficulties, roadblocks, and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate with regional controllers, AP, treasury, tax on closing matters.
• Represent accounting during internal and external audits and prepare documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and drive process governance and tool improvements.
