Outsourced in Medellín is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the monthly close and oversee core general ledger activities, including cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The role emphasizes process ownership, accuracy, and audit readiness within an in-office setting.

The candidate should have advanced Excel skills, strong GA capabilities, and preferably NetSuite experience, with collaboration across teams to improve workflows and financial reporting.

Formación

• Advanced GA knowledge and ledger maintenance experience.
• Journal entry preparation and variance investigation track record.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for async/sync work.
• Self-management with prioritization and proactive problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries during monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, variance analyses, and root-cause analyses on key GL accounts.
• Own core accounting processes end-to-end while identifying workflow improvements.
• Prepare and upload bulk journal entries using templates (.csv).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial accuracy and audit readiness.
