Yango is seeking a proactive Accountant in Bogota with 5+ years of accounting experience to manage day-to-day operations and analyze financial data. The role requires IFRS knowledge for Colombia and the ability to support audits and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy across payroll, monthly VAT/CIT returns, and financial reporting.

Formación

• Professional accountant license (JCC) required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in IFRS applicable in Colombia.
• Experience filing tax returns with DIAN.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate payroll according to local laws.
• Submit monthly tax returns (VAT/CIT).
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare local financial statements.
• Attend external audits to ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant in Bogota with 5+ years of experience. To be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and systems, interpreting and analyzing accounting data. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate Payroll according to local laws
• Submit Monthly tax returns (VAT/CIT)
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare Local Financial Statements
• Attend external audits to ensure compliance
• Ensure Compliance with Tax Regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Accountant License issued by the Central Board of Accountants (JCC).
• Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) applicable in Colombia.
• Experience in preparing and filing tax returns with the Colombian National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN).
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills in English.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
