Biz Latin Hub is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Bogotá team. You will own core accounting processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical accounting degree, 2+ years of experience, proficiency with SIIGO and Excel, and a proactive mindset to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Formación

• Technical degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using SIIGO accounting software.
• Experience with electronic invoicing processes.
• Practical knowledge of payroll calculations.
• Experience supporting or preparing tax filings (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports
• Update and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Execute payroll calculations and manage monthly payroll updates
• Prepare and support the submission of national and local tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax)
• Manage electronic invoicing processes in compliance with local regulations
• Compile, analyze, and validate financial information for reporting purposes
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements
• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables
