Permanent Full-time or Part-time RDH -Assistant/Dental Assistant position in an El Cerrito, California general dental office. This office is looking for someone to take 2-5 days a week with the schedule being Every other Monday 8-5, Tuesday - Thursday 8-5 and Fridays 7-1. Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
• Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
• Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients
