Validation & Engineering Group is seeking a Validation Metrology Specialist to provide field and instrumentation support for qualification and monitoring activities. The role coordinates calibrated instruments, prepares thermocouples and recorders, and ensures traceability of validation equipment.

You will work with thermocouples, temperature recorders and wireless data loggers, supporting cGMP compliance in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment. Evening or weekend work may be required as needed.

Formación

• Three or more years of metrology, calibration, thermal mapping, qualification or pharma field execution experience.
• Hands-on experience with thermocouples, temperature recorders, wireless data loggers and calibration documentation.
• Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain inventory and availability of validation instruments, sensors, recorders and supporting materials.
• Verify calibration status, range, accuracy and traceability before equipment use.
• Coordinate or execute calibration activities for validation studies.
• Prepare, label, install, troubleshoot and remove thermocouples and temperature sensors.
• Configure and operate temperature recorders and wireless data logging systems.
• Support thermal mapping and periodic monitoring of autoclaves, isolators and controlled temperature systems.
• Download, organize and transfer electronic data for technical review.

Validation Metrology Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the inventory and availability of validation instruments sensors recorders data loggers and supporting materials
• Verify calibration status identification range accuracy and traceability before equipment use
• Coordinate or execute calibration activities required to support validation studies
• Prepare label install troubleshoot and remove thermocouples and other temperature sensors
• Configure and operate temperature recorders and wireless data logging systems
• Support thermal mapping and periodic monitoring of autoclaves isolators and controlled temperature systems
• Download organize and transfer electronic data for technical review
• Maintain equipment use logs calibration certificates checkout records and inventory documentation
• Identify and report instrument malfunctions out of tolerance conditions missing equipment or data collection issues
• Coordinate instrument maintenance or repair
• Follow applicable cGMP safety PPE contamination control and documentation requirements
• Support evening weekend holiday or extended hour execution when required

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree in Instrumentation Electronics Engineering Technology Metrology or a related technical area
• Three or more years of metrology calibration thermal mapping qualification or pharmaceutical field execution experience
• Hands on experience with thermocouples temperature recorders wireless data loggers and calibration documentation
• Ability to read technical procedures execute approved test instructions and document activities accurately
• Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment is strongly preferred
