Sezzle is seeking an Accountant for a LATAM-based position supporting a US-headquartered public company. You will perform US GAAP month-end close, maintain SOX controls, and prepare documentation for audits in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, advanced Excel, and professional English, with the ability to align work hours to US Central time; Claude experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• US GAAP experience required; public company exposure a plus.
• SOX internal controls familiarity preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge of US GAAP and basic SOX exposure.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Professional English fluency; US Central time alignment.
• Experience using Claude or similar LLM tools.

Responsabilidades

• Execute monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations under US GAAP.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare schedules for quarterly/annual reviews and audits.
