NHS Scotland is seeking a Telephonist to join the NHS Fife Switchboard team at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. The role involves handling calls on a computerised Switchboard, responding to queries, and providing telephony support to NHS staff and the public.

We value good English and arithmetic, strong typing, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be organised, able to work in a team, and flexible in approach; full training will be provided.

Formación

• Educated to Standard Grade with passes in English and Arithmetic.
• Good keyboard/typing skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good organisational & listening skills and a flexible approach to work.

Responsabilidades

• Handle calls on a computerised Switchboard and respond to queries.
• Respond to pager requests and emergency calls.
• Provide advice and support on telephony services to NHS employees and the public.
• Based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and part of the 24/7 integrated service.
