NHS Fife in Kirkcaldy is seeking a Telephonist to join the Switchboard team at Victoria Hospital. You will handle calls on a computerised switchboard, respond to pager requests and emergencies, and provide telephony support to NHS staff and the public.

Full training will be given; a flexible, team-oriented approach and good English are essential for safe and effective service delivery.

Formación

• Educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) with English and Arithmetic.
• Good keyboard/typing skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good organisational and listening skills; flexible approach.
• English language competency for safe and effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Handle calls on a computerised Switchboard and respond to queries.
• Respond to pager requests and emergencies, monitor alarms.
• Provide telephony advice and support to NHS staff and the public.
• Collaborate within a 24/7 integrated switchboard service as required.
