Job summary

EECOL Electric Corp. in Santiago seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee assembly floor crews, schedule work, and ensure quality conformance. You will interpret drawings, coordinate production plans, and drive improvements while maintaining records and enforcing safety policies.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with LEAN processes and MS Office. Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in Business or related preferred; Experience can be substituted for degree.
• 3 years required of supervisory experience in plant and manufacturing environment.
• 3 years required of quality and LEAN process understanding and ability to implement.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable situations.
• Mathematical skills with concrete understanding of numbers and units of measure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and demonstrable skills.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.

Job description

As a Production Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate employees who assemble parts, components or electrical units at floor stations. You will prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the work product. You will ensure conformance to established procedures and product quality levels. You will identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and supervise repairs as necessary.
