Job summary

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) is seeking a Senior Analyst for SF and M&A to support Latam operations from Chile. You will build robust financial models, support debt and equity processes, and prepare investment materials for diverse stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a Finance background, 5+ years in corporate finance or project finance in renewables, and fluency in English and Spanish. This role emphasizes analytical rigor and collaboration across Finance, Technical, Legal, and Advisors.

Qualifications

Job description

Leading global operator specialising in the complete management of renewable assets for electricity generation is looking for an SF and M&A Senior Analyst to support our operations in Latam.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the SF and M&A team, this position will be accountable for the following tasks:

• Financial modelling activities addressing all commercial, technical and financial parameters of the projects for debt financing structuring, project valuation,preparation of tenders, achievement of internal investment approvals, financial close processes and asset sale processes; among others.
• Provide support in all activities associated with debt and equity investment processes (due diligence, documentation review, etc...) by iterating with the internal FRV´s teams involved in the process (Technical, Legal, Tax, FP&A) as well as with external stakeholders (financial advisors, financial institutions, equity investors, etc)
• Coordinating and drafting presentations and other investment materials for a diversity of internal and external stakeholders and purposes (i.e. project updates, market analysis, etc...).
• Other ad-hoc duties.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Finance or other quantitative or technical field.
• Advanced EXCEL skills. Knowledge of EXCEL VBA coding.
• Very strong analytical skills. Demonstrable financial modelling experience, including building models from scratch (financial modelling test will be performed if needed).
• +5 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, project finance and/or debt structuring practices as well as experience in structured finance and M&A execution processes in the renewable energy sector
• Demonstrable financial modelling experience, including building financial models from scratch with full modelling of financial statements (P&L, Balance, Cash flows) and with special focus on non-recourse project financing models. Knowledge on project finance modelling key processes and variables: Debt Sizing, DSCR evaluation, Cash Sweeps, Break -Even scenarios, etc. Financial modelling test will be performed if required.
• Familiarity with structured finance and M&A execution processes, especially non-recourse financing structures.
• English and Spanish language proficiency (both written and spoken).
