Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) seeks an experienced transactional lawyer to manage M&A and project development transactions in South America, including Chile. You will collaborate with FRV's global legal team and local business unit, handling complex deals and coordinating external counsel.

The role requires strong legal experience in energy or infrastructure sectors, fluency in Spanish and advanced English, and an interest in AI-enabled legal tools. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• +7 years of professional legal work experience.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure or related sectors strongly preferred.
• Experience independently managing complex transactions and external counsel.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced professional English.
• Interest in using AI and legal technology tools

Responsabilités

• Provide legal support to the Business Unit in development, acquisition and sale of utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Review, interpret, draft and negotiate project documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, PPAs, and other commercial contracts.
• Lead and coordinate legal workstreams on M&A and other strategic transactions in Chile and other South American countries.
• Manage and supervise outside counsel, including responsibility for scope, budgets and legal spend.
• With support from FRV headquarters, manage corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, incorporations, liquidations, capital contributions, powers of attorney and corporate records.
• Manage litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution matters.
• Support FRV's compliance function on conflicts of interest, Code of Conduct matters, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, data protection and other governance policies.
