The UN Secretariat in Santiago invites applications for Chief of Human Resources Section. The role leads the HR unit, policy development, and strategic staff management across the division, reporting to the Chief of the Division.

The ideal candidate has a advanced degree in HR or related field, at least ten years of progressive HR experience including UN or international organization exposure, and strong data analytics to inform decisions.

Formación

• Advanced degree in human resources management, public administration, or related field.
• A first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the advanced degree.
• Experience with HR data analytics and reporting is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and supervise the Human Resources Section and develop HR policies and practices.
• Advise senior management on HR matters including staff appointments and staff-management relations.
• Represent the organization in negotiations with staff and inter‑agency bodies; oversee recruitment and placement strategies.
