Command|Link is a global SaaS platform delivering network, voice, and IT security solutions. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the monitoring product surface end-to-end—architecture, API, and UI—scaling with a topology-grounded design and real-time troubleshooting capabilities.

You will lead cross-team decisions, define contracts between services, and mentor engineers to deliver durable, production-grade features across the platform.

Formación

• Deep understanding of network and system topology.
• Production experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure.
• Contract-driven development across teams using protobuf.
• Experience with network telemetry in production (SNMP, syslog, ICMP, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven track record owning architectural decisions across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own architecture and long-term direction of the monitoring API and UI.
• Surface full account and device hierarchy and dependencies.
• Lead discovery and inventory: Host Discovery, System Discovery, onboarding sources.
• Build screens for alert history through the alert service.
• Define data contracts between the monitoring product and services.
• Set technical patterns for rendering hierarchical network data and topology visualizations.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
