Ria Money Transfer is seeking a highly motivated Sr QA Engineer in Santiago, Chile to ensure quality and reliability of software products. You will conduct rigorous testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive testing best practices across mobile and web platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mobile app testing and web testing within fintech environments, with exposure to automation tools and modern QA processes.

Formación

• Education: degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable technical education
• Experience: min 5 years in Mobile App Testing and Web Browser Testing, fintech domain preferred
• Tech Stack: basic knowledge in C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, TestNG, Selenium
• Databases: MSSQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB
• Tools & Utilities: Git, Azure, Postman, Elastic Stack, DataDog, LogRocket, Amplitude & Segment
• Language: ability to communicate in English in intercultural environment

About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr QA Engineer to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Requirements

• Ownership of Software Quality:You are responsible for ensuring high software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• End-to-End Testing Expertise:You plan and execute manual and automated testing for mobile applications, including functional, UI, and cross-browser testing.
• Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis:You identify, prioritize, track and analyse defects, driving preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
• Collaboration with Development Teams:You work closely with cross-functional development teams to continuously improve quality standards and testing processes.
• Release Readiness & Reporting:You validate release readiness, execute test cycles, and clearly communicate test results and quality status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education:You have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable technical education
• Experience:You have proven work experience (min 5 years) in Mobile App Testing and Web Browser Testing, Ideally in a banking or fintech domain
• Tech Stack:Ideally, you have knowledge of following points:
  • Programming Language & Frameworks:Basic knowledge in C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, TestNG, Selenium.
  • Databases:MSSQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB
  • Tools & Utilities:Git, Azure, Postman, Elastic Stack, DataDog, LogRocket, Amplitude & Segment
• Personality:You are a self-starter, a great team player, have attention to details and bring excellent problem-solving as well as communication skills with a logical and pragmatic attitude
• Language Skills:You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment and in any situation.
