Ria Money Transfer in Santiago, Chile seeks a QA Analyst to ensure the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The role requires ownership of software quality across the development lifecycle, defect tracking, collaboration with development teams, and ensuring release readiness with clear quality reporting to stakeholders.

A IT/CS degree and knowledge of MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB are preferred.

Formación

• Degree in IT, CS, or equivalent technical education.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ownership of Software Quality: You are responsible for ensuring high software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis: You identify, prioritize, track and analyse defects, driving preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: You work closely with cross-functional development teams to continuously improve quality standards and testing processes.
• Release Readiness & Reporting: You validate release readiness, execute test cycles, and clearly communicate test results and quality status to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: You have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable technical education
• Tech Stack: Ideally, you have knowledge of following points:
• Databases: MSSQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB
• Personality: You are a self-starter, a great team player, have attention to details and bring excellent problem-solving as well as communication skills with a logical and pragmatic attitude
• Language Skills: You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment and in any situation.
