BairesDev in Chile is seeking a Software Engineer (Real-Time) to design and develop deterministic, high-performance systems where timing is critical. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software to ensure system reliability in safety-critical environments.

You will implement real-time software on RTOS platforms, optimize low-level firmware for embedded and IoT products, and collaborate on architecture to meet stringent timing constraints.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on real-time systems.
• Proven expertise in deterministic, hard real-time systems using RTOS such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or QNX.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

As a Software Engineer (Real-Time), you will design and develop deterministic, high-performance systems where timing and precision are critical. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software to ensure system reliability in safety-critical environments.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement real-time software solutions using various RTOS platforms.
• Design deterministic scheduling algorithms to meet strict timing and hardware constraints.
• Develop and optimize low-level firmware for embedded systems and IoT products.
• Performance tune system components to ensure ultra-high reliability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate on system architecture to support complex, safety-critical execution requirements.
• Debug and resolve complex synchronization and timing issues in multi-threaded environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on real-time systems.
• Proven expertise in developing deterministic, hard real-time systems using RTOS such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or QNX.
• Strong understanding of real-time scheduling and managing hardware constraints in safety-critical contexts.
• Hands-on experience with low-level debugging and performance optimization for embedded software.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
