Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to own search campaigns for roofing clients across multiple markets. You’ll set the technical roadmap, prioritize content with writers and AI, and steer the ranking narrative for clients in a remote, globally distributed environment.

You will manage technical audits, local and multi-location SEO, and deliver GA4/Search Console reporting with quarterly roadmaps. Strong English on live calls with US clients is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for roofing or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

As SEO Strategist, Roofing you own search for a book of roofing clients (roofing contractors operating across several markets): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
