Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking a Senior Video Editor (Client & Project Management) for a fully remote, long-term contractor role serving one or more U.S.-based brands. The ideal candidate will lead post-production, manage client relationships, and collaborate with a cross-functional creative team.

You will edit high-quality content, present edits to clients, and translate goals into actionable production plans while maintaining timelines and delivering exceptional storytelling.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in a production company, creative agency, brand, or similar environment.
• Outstanding storytelling instincts with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
• Advanced English (spoken and written) with ability to lead client meetings.
• Experience presenting work directly to clients and leading client conversations.
• Excellent written communication skills for client emails and project correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

About The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Video Editor – Client & Project Management who enjoys both the creative and client-facing sides of production.

You’ll become the primary creative partner for one of the company's largest clients, leading projects from post-production through final delivery while serving as the day-to-day point of contact. Although your primary focus will be one key account, you’ll also collaborate with the broader creative team on additional productions as opportunities arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content from rough cut through final delivery.


• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for one of the company's largest clients, leading meetings, presenting edits, gathering feedback, and building long-term relationships.


• Translate client goals and feedback into creative solutions and actionable production plans.


• Create motion graphics, title sequences, and graphic elements that enhance storytelling.


• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.


• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, cinematographers, designers, and other creative team members.


• Help maintain smooth project workflows and deliver an outstanding client experience.


• Represent the company professionally in every client interaction.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience within a production company, creative agency, brand, or similar environment.


• Outstanding storytelling instincts supported by a strong portfolio.


• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.


• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.


• Advanced English (spoken and written). You should feel confident leading client meetings, presenting edits, and communicating directly with U.S. clients.


• Previous experience presenting work directly to clients and leading client conversations.


• Excellent written communication skills, including handling client emails and project correspondence.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Nice to Have

• Producing or project management experience.


• Experience with documentary, testimonial, branded, or corporate content.


• Familiarity with Frame.io and collaborative review workflows.


• Basic color correction and audio finishing skills.


• Experience contributing to creative concepts or treatment development.
