Job summary

Bechtel Escondida is seeking a seasoned professional to participate in subcontract training and administration. You will lead the preparation and review of bid packages and the development of project contract operating procedures.

The role involves ongoing progress reviews, forecasting difficulties, and ensuring subcontract alignment with project requirements. You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage contract changes, and generate management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–14 years in contracting.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract terms.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex changes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations and ensure execution of agreements.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate commercial bids.
• Monitor progress and forecast difficulties with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams on contractual matters.
• Generate status reports for management.
• Maintain subcontract administration on project platforms.
