Worley is seeking a Senior Study Manager to lead complex mining front-end studies and advisory work across FEL stages, with a focus on capital cost and value delivery in the MMM sector.

You will mentor regional study teams, develop execution plans, contribute to business development, and ensure high-quality study deliverables while aligning with Worley’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• University Degree with a minimum of 20 years’ experience in Mining Projects; with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in direct Study Management.
• With CIP ongoing and PMP (preferably).
• Experience in Front End Studies & Advisory, Concept/Select, Consulting, CS, PFS, FS, (NI 43-101, Project Economic Assessment (PEA) reporting (preferred)
• MMM background (Mining, Process preferably) including experience in base metals, precious metals, and energy transition minerals.
• Advanced English level (preferably)

Responsabilités

• Support to execute business tactics aligned to deliver the MMM strategy.
• Support TES Leaders to support/improve the delivery of studies and capability growth.
• Mentor more junior members of the Study Management Team in each region who are themselves leading consulting, concept/select, FEL1, FEL2, FEL3 work engagements.
• Maintain and grow a network of project development executives with the MMM sector.
• Be a fundamental key professional in the management of our customers and our projects.
• Participate in business development activities, achieving quality in study execution activities, with the outcome of increasing our successful pull through from early-stage projects into later stage project execution.
• Demonstrate good knowledge about Capital Cost Class based on AACEI and FEL´s methodology
• Generate execution and resourcing plans for study proposals.
• Responsible for the ongoing development and management of the best practice study management processes in Worley MMM sector.
• Review and provide quality input to study deliverables produced by your project teams.
• Delivers senior study management for key projects.
• Collaborates and builds a Worley community of practice for world best practice in study management with peers across all sectors.
• Contribute and make recommendations to the evolution the MMM Sector Strategy.
• Contribute to thought leadership in the MMM sector.
• Provide execution governance for complex studies.
• Be the designed project executive (DPE) for a group of studies.
• Be the spearhead for all relevant future prospects.
• Join effort with BD to sell projects and participated in proposals.
