DXC Technology is seeking a skilled cyber security analyst to join its security operations team. You will scrutinize escalated events from Tier 1 and 2 analysts and coordinate response with the Incident Response Lead.

The role requires hands-on experience with SIEM, log analysis, and network security tools, plus scripting in Python or PowerShell. You will contribute to incident handling, threat detection, and best-practice runbooks.

Formación

• Operational experience as a cyber security analyst/engineer handling incidents.
• Strong knowledge of threats and countermeasures (DDoS, phishing, ransomware).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall technologies.
• Proficient in log analysis and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Scrutinize escalated cyber security events and escalate incidents as needed.
• Analyze logs and alerts to identify incidents and remediation steps.
• Ingest indicators of compromise (IOCs) into security tools to protect client networks.
• Develop SOPs and Runbooks for SOC Analysts.
• Coordinate with enterprise-wide teams to resolve incidents.
• Provide expert technical support and participate in threat hunting.
