Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead security across Go-based tooling and containerized environments. You will design hardened images, secure Kubernetes workloads, and build automation that enforces secure software delivery.

With 5+ years in software security, you will drive vulnerability remediation using Git PR workflows and CI/CD hardening, working across AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Remote-first and highly collaborative, you’ll influence security across the global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a security focus.
• Strong Go proficiency for security tooling.
• Experience securing containers and Kubernetes at scale.
• Experience with SCA, SAST, DAST triage and patching.
• Terraform for provisioning security controls.
• Cloud security on AWS (and Azure) with container orchestration.
• Experience with AI in security (LLMs, MCP) or strong understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design hardened container base images and secure Kubernetes workloads.
• Build Go-based security automation tooling.
• Drive vulnerability remediation with engineering teams via Git PRs and patches.
• Perform SCA, SAST, and DAST triage from discovery to patch.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and Helm charts against supply chain risks.
