BairesDev is seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Consultant to lead a comprehensive data exit from SAP Ariba, capturing contracts, documents, and audit trails for migration to Workday. You’ll design crosswalks, manage authentication, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the extraction and loading process.

You’ll coordinate extraction pipelines and staging areas, ensuring robust error handling and traceable reconciliation before the Workday load.

Senior SAP Ariba Consultant at BairesDev

In this role, you'll execute a complete data exit from SAP Ariba, extracting thousands of executed contracts, complex document hierarchies, and historical approval audit trails, then mapping them into Workday target environments. Navigating API record caps and building a staging layer for field reconciliation, you'll preserve compliance evidence with the rigor a regulated payments environment demands. What You'll Do

• Extract contract, document, and approval data out of Ariba using all available extraction channels.
• Handle OAuth 2.0 authentication, rate‑limiting, and resume‑from‑manifest strategies across extraction jobs.
• Build field‑level crosswalks mapping Ariba data into Workday load contracts.
• Model contract hierarchy, predecessor lineage, and amendment chains as distinct link types.
• Design an evidence‑preservation strategy for historical approval audit trails, since Workday cannot replay historical approval chains.
• Build extraction pipelines and staging layers with proper error handling and reconciliation before loading into Workday.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Ariba migration and extraction consulting, with hands‑on Ariba exit experience.
• Practical command of all four Ariba extraction channels, including admin file export, Operational and Analytical Reporting APIs, Project Document Management API, and the legacy integration toolkit workspace export.
• Experience handling OAuth 2.0 client‑credentials authentication, rate‑limit and 429 handling, and resume‑from‑manifest patterns.
• Experience with data mapping from Ariba into Workday, including field‑level crosswalk construction against Workday load contracts such as submit‑supplier‑contract and submit‑amendment web services.
• Ability to disambiguate the different Workday CLM stacks, including Financials supplier contracts, Strategic Sourcing contracts, and the Evisort‑derived CLM product.
• Deep understanding of Ariba contract hierarchy, approval evidence preservation, and the distinction between workspace and document version chains.

Nice To Have

• Conceptual knowledge of Workday Procurement/CLM, mock‑load cadences, Studio, Prism, and Extend.
• Experience building extraction flows using SAP BTP/Integration Suite, SFTP, or APIs.
• Experience with legacy and custom Ariba environments, including partition‑scoped architectures.
• Experience with P2P and open PO cutover strategies.
• Background coordinating SAP Service Requests for Flex Master Data and enum sets.
• Compliance and audit experience in SOX or regulated environments, including hash manifests and chain of custody.
