Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Lead to join our Digital engineering team in Santiago, Chile. This role leads the Automation team that builds and owns the QA framework used by every squad, embedding QA engineers and automating as features are built.

You will own the framework, write tests hands-on, and guide tooling, practices, and metrics across teams. From day one you will set the technical direction and grow the team to include formal people management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable technical education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Automation team day to day and manage engineers.
• Own how Digital automates — practices, shared tooling, and metrics.
• Design, build, and maintain the shared automation stack.
• Drive the adoption of AI agents in the testing workflow.
• Define and track quality metrics for the department.
• Onboard, coach, and support QA engineers embedded in each squad.
• Collaborate with squad leads and engineering managers to integrate tests.
